Jaideep Chopra who made his debut on 2013 with his movie “Maazii” is revisiting the Bollywood cinema again with his second movie “2016 The End” in mid-2016. His debut movie Maazii had gained a terrific critics response and it fetched a lot of international awards.

2016 The End is a tale about 4 people who suddenly come to know about a catastrophe that shall be hitting the world in 7 days. The story illustrates how the four, spends their last 7 days to make the best out of it. The four characters are the famous faces known by everyone. The first is Kiku Sharda who is also a comedian named “Palak” in ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, Divyendu Sharma who was seen in movies such as ‘Chashme Badoor’ and ‘Pyaar ka Punchnama’, Priya Banerjee who was an actress in “Jazbaa” and Harshad Chopra from “Humsafars”.

The first poster of the movie has been already released and it features the tag line “What would you do if the world ends in 7 days?”

Jaideep Chopra’s first movie “Maazii” was fortunate in fetching 3.5-4 stars from the critics but as told by the director, the film was a spine chiller which is totally different from the second one that features a farce series of comedy. The director’s main motive behind this is to prove his versatility and substantiate his place in the Indian Cinema. He expects to fetch a 3.5 or a 4 star for this movie as well.

The film’s development crew has the best set of technicians deployed for the film. The editor of the film is Rameshwar S.Bhagat who is experienced in editing some of the 2015 hits such as “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, “Boss”, “Kick” and is presently working on “Sultan”. For the sound design department, Shajith Koyeri who has also won a national award for the movie “Haider” sound design and is presently working on “Dangal”.

The writer and producer of the movie “2016 The End” is Jaideep Chopra itself and with the red-letter “Jaideep Chopra Productions” and “Dollar Group International”.
