Directed by AR Murugadoss, Akira is a forthcoming action drama movie of Sonakshi Sinha which is making a buzz on the internet for a completely new avatar of Sonakshi Sinha and its trailer release near Sultan. Sonakshi Sinha debuted with Dabangg in Bollywood as a sweet girl and now she is shedding her sweet and bubbly girl mask with Akira.

Review of Akira Trailer
Akira’s official trailer was released on July 4, 2016. Though many other unofficial versions were already available on the internet but the official trailer has really given a very nice surprise to all Sonakshi’s fan.
To say that action scenes by Sonakshi Sinha are commendable would be an understatement. It is mindblowing!
The trailer gives a nice idea about the story line. A rebellious girl from Jodhpur gets entangled in a situation which turns her life into no less than hell. Anurag Kashyap is seen as a corrupt police officer who wants to kill Akira. Konkana Sen Sharma is also a cop, albeit seemingly a good one. Will she be the only one to help Akira?
Poster and First Look
On 28th June, Sonakshi used the Twitter handle to release the movie’s first poster which is looking very promising. The poster and first look of the movie are appreciated by the audience. In both of it, Sonakshi is looking quite fearless and intense. Where the English poster has a tag line-No one will be forgiven, Hindi poster has a tag like given by Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha-Yai Khamosh Nahi Rahegi.
Story
With Sonakshi, the other lead characters are playing by Anurag Kashyap and Konkona Sensharma. In this movie, Anurag Kashyap with wear the shoes of actor and will play an antagonist. Though it is not his first movie as an actor. He has worked in short movie ‘I Am’ as an actor. There was a news that he has hurt himself during the shooting of Akira which was shared by Sonakshi on Twitter.
Akira is a remake of Mounaguru
Like many others movie, this is also a remake of a Superhit Tamil movie ‘Mounaguru’ in which Arulnidhi and Iniya were in lead roles. The story of the movie revolves around a college student named Akira. Akira, girl from Jodhpur moved to Mumbai for higher education. But things turn bad for her and she lost everything she values – then she decides to fight back. Sonakshi will be seen doing a lot of action scenes in the movie. training This movie was previously slated to release on 23rd September. Where movies are postponing their release date, Akira’s release date is preponed to 2nd September.
This trailer has definitely made Sonakshi’s fan more eager to watch this movie. We are hoping that this movie will get a good response like its Tamil version and will do well on box office.
