Directed by Nitya Mehra, forthcoming Bollywood movie Baar Baar Dekho is all set to release on September 9 this year. The shooting of the movie was wrapped in February.
Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif and handsome newcomer Siddharth Malhotra are main leads in this romantic film.
Produced by Dharma productions and Excel entertainment production under the distribution banner of Eros entertainment, the movie is said to be a romantic drama that goes through time and makes you understand what love and joy is. Actors Katrina Kaif and Siddharth Malhotra will be sporting a variety of looks in the film.
Taking into account the chemistry between the two lead actors and their popularity, here are the box office predictions for the film:

Katrina Kaif’s first movie was a disaster but today she is the most popular actress in the country. She has slowly charted her way to box office success starting with her first commercial film Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya which also starred her then-boyfriend actor Salman khan.
Her role in the film Namastey London led to change in her career. After the success of this movie, Katrina went on to act in Partner which was a remake of the Will Smith film Hitch.
Other films like Welcome and Race made filmmakers aware of her success in commercial films. After the critical acclaim received by New York and the huge success of Singh is king, the actress suddenly becomes everyone’s’ go to actress of Bollywood due to her ability to pull in audiences.
Talented youngster, Siddharth Malhotra is the next big star of Bollywood. The actor managed to capture everyone’s attention with his debut film Student of the Year which also starred Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the lead roles. According to rumors, Siddharth is said to have done more films than most of his contemporaries like Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, and Arjun Kapoor. For the first time, two big production companies, Dharma Productions, and Excel Entertainment are collaborating.
Yash Johar founded Dharma productions in 1979 and his son, Karan Johar is now the head. Dharma productions are famous for its romantic movies. Some of their successful romantic movies include Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Kal Ho Na Ho and Student of the Year. Other hit movies include Kuch Kuch Hota Hai starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, and I Hate Love Stories starring Imran khan and Sonam Kapoor. All these movies made it to the list of the highest-grossing movies of all time.
Farhan Akhtar, son of singer Javed Akhtar created the Excel Entertainment production along with Ritesh Sidhwani in the year 1999. The production is also well known for its box office hit films. Some of their successful films include Dil Chahta Hai, Don 2 and Rock On.
Interestingly, newbie Nitya Mehra, director of Baar Baar Dekho previously worked as an assistant director to Farhan Akhtar.
