After a break, Bollywood is back with another superhero movie, this time, starring Tiger Shroff. A Flying Jatt is directed by Remo D’Souza. Jacqueline Fernandez will be playing Tiger’s love interest in the movie. The role of the villain will be played by the Australian actor Nathan Jones. He is a retired professional wrestler, WWA champion, and power lifting champion.

If the film is successful, Tiger Shroff will be the second superhero of India.

Audiences are already bursting with excitement with the presence of Nathan Jones and Tiger Shroff. In order to set hype of the movie among the audience, the makers of A Flying Jatt has released its first look that includes two posters. One of the posters has Tiger Shroff attired in the superhero dress. In that poster, there is a tag lines ‘Hope has a new name‘. The other one features Nathan Jones  having tagline ‘Evil has a new face.’

Releasing on 25th August 2016

The film is all set to release on 25th of August. It is expected  that it will release on 2500+ screens. This is a very good chance for it to earn higher. Since it is based on animation and technology, the budget is also very high. Hence the films need to earn a lot at the box office in order to get profit.

Opening Day: 10 Cr.

First Weekend: 25 Cr.

Basis of predictions for A Flying Jatt in Box Office

Actor Tiger Shroff made his debut with 2014’s Heropanti, which earned him a film fare nomination. For his debut, he was praised for his ability to perform stunts and dance skills. He later starred in action movie Bhaagi which turned out be a big office success earning around 1 billion worldwide.

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez debuted in Bollywood with movie named Alladin opposite Ritesh Deshmukh, but the movie didn’t do well at the box office. She first tasted success with psychological thriller Murder 2. This was followed by roles in movies like Housefull 2, its sequel Housefull 3 and action movie Race 2. All these were box office successes. Later in 2014, Jacqueline Fernandez played the lead role in Sajid’s Kick which was one of highest grosses of all time.

Director of the movie, Remo D’Souza made India’s first 3D dance movie ABCD, with the contestants from series 1 and 2 of Dance India Dance and Lauren Gottlieb and Prabhudev. His next movie, ABCD 2 starring Varun Dhawan, Prabhudeva and Shradhha Kapoor did very well and was a success.

The producer of A Flying Jatt, Balaji Motion Pictures was founded by Ekta Kapoor in 2001. She first produced Kyo Kii..Main Jhuth Nahi Bolta in 2001 with Govinda and Sushmita Sen. It failed at the box office. Her next two films also get bad response at the box office. The company in 2005 released and produced the film Kyaa Kool Hai hum which reportedly grossed over 21.5 Cr. at the box office and made it to the list of top 3 films of 2005. Other films include The Dirty picture, Shor in the city, Ragini MMS, Once upon a time in Mumbai and many more.

Let’s hope that this sci-fi film does well at the box office and give India its second superhero.
