Ballet flats

As the name says, these are very similar to a ballerina’s slippers. They are close toed and absolutely no hell and made of sturdy yet flexible material. Apart from being fashionable and chic, this is perfect for those who hate heels. It is very comfortable. When you buy one of these, make sure that the inner side material used is not too rigid and there should be some breathing space for your toes.

Mules

These are the ones with no back (ankles exposed) and with low or high heels that are chunky. Add this to your footwear collection only if you want something for semi formal wear. Also, they are often a little heavy. Looks smart and elegant, but not the party style.

Platform Shoes

The essential feature of platform heels is a very very thick sole, that gives an effect of a raised platform. The front part is a flat big platform and at the back there might be a stiletto heel or a wedge one.

Boots

There are so many types of boots that a whole new article can be written about them. Once upon a time boots were mainly worn to protect oneself from snow or mud, mainly per se functionality. But now they have become a big fashion statement. This winter and fall saw a plethora of boots in the market. Boots with a little bit of heel or high heels looks gorgeous, but some furry ones that do not come too high on your legs look great without heels too.
