The Roasted Turkey is the signature dish of this day and thanks to that dialogue from friends which made it more popular than ever here it goes “More Turkey Mr. Chandler. Rofl. Okay so jokes apart! You all know that being healthy is an outfit that looks good on everyone and this is why we should take care of ourselves profusely. Thanksgiving is the day to make everyone happy and we know how much you love your close ones, try to go a step further and treat them to a healthy but filling meal. Be the star of the day and make a difference.

Here is a line up of healthy Thanksgiving Appetizers / Starters.

Sesame Popcorn

Your guests will perhaps binge on this one the most and will love them too. Popcorns could never be healthy until this came coming lol! Fetch some popped up popcorns and flip them in sesame oil and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Choco Crackers with Peanut butter and any fruit

This one is really easy to make and will partially take care of your guest’s taste buds as well. You will just need some crackers, a jar of peanut butter and any fruit like strawberry, mango or perhaps banana. Just take up some peanut butter and spread it on the cracker and sprinkle fruit slices onto them and you are good to go.

Fruit Cornucopias

These are really beautiful and catch the on looker’s eye in a jiffy, you will need some waffle cones, flavored yogurt and lots of fruits to go with. Just take up a waffle cone, put a spoonful or two of the yogurt and fill the cone with raspberries, strawberries, bananas, blueberries, apples etc.

Dry Oatmeal Pomegranate Cups

This is really really tasty in the first place and would impress your guest in a sure shot way. Just place a coconut oil greased muffin tin in an oven at 350 F. In a bowl, mash some banana, 2 cups oatmeal, a teaspoon of baking powder and whisk all. Put some coconut oil in the batter and pour the smooth puree into the muffin tin. Sprinkle Pomegranates and bake for 20 minutes at 350 F.

Spicy watermelon

Kids will definitely love this recipe and it is likely to vanish off in seconds if you keep it on the table as an appetizer. You will need peeled off watermelons which are deseeded as well. Just Put them in a beautiful bowl and garnish them with mint leaves, salt to taste, a little pinch of black pepper and you are done.

Broccoli, Shiitake, and Roasted Onions

This dish is quite pretty to make and healthy to have as well. You will need Broccoli, Mushrooms, Onion sliced, Olive Oil, Vinegar, and black pepper. You will have to preheat your oven to a max temp of 425 degrees. Peel the broccoli and keep them aside. Now cut the onion and mushrooms and glaze with some olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place them all on the baking sheet and roast them for 20 minutes. Spray very little vinegar and mix the veggies.
