The International Day of Non Violence 2019 also known as the Non Violence Day is celebrated on the October 2nd. It has a huge connection with the torchbearer of peace and calm, Mahatma Gandhi. It was on the Jun 15, 2007 when all the members of the United Nations assembly decided to celebrate the day with an aim to spread a message of non-violence among the masses.

Mahatma Gandhi was one of the prominent figures in the India’s Independence struggle which is why he is also known as the “Father of India”.
