Rowena Girneet Baweja, began painting at a very young age. Later, her love for art made her explore photography and cinematography. She is a Graduate of Cinematography from The University of Arts, London. “The Undertaker” her graduation film was screened at the Cannes Short Film Quarter in 2005.

She is the daughter of filmmaker Harry Baweja. Recently she was the cinematographer of Chaar Sahibzaade, an animation feature film that released in 2014.

Rowena is a young artists and her work has been a part of the 377191 Wall at Kala Ghoda Festival and at the Mentor Me India programme at Gallery 7, where her work was displayed alongside artists like Souza, Manjit Bawa, Jogen Choudhary, Hussain amongst others.

Her work is also listed at Chawla Art Gallery, Delhi. She has also been a part of two artists Residencies: WAA Artists, Mumbai in 2014 and Halka Art Project, Istanbul in 2015.
