After entertaining audience with movie ‘ Bajrangi Bhaijaan,’ Salman Khan is all set to charm the audience with his upcoming movie Sultan. Sultan is sports-drama movie which has been always in the news since its inception. This movie is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar under the banner of Yash Raj Films. This movie revolves around a small town wrestler of Haryana named Sultan Ali Khan. The movie focuses on his personal and professional life struggle and then to achieve wrestling world championships and other competitions.

Except Salman Khan, Anushka Sharma is also in lead role. The other actors feature in movie are Randeep Hooda, Amit Sadh, Tyron Woodley and Suzi Khan. Earlier it was in news that Sylvester Stallone will play the role of Salman Khan’s coach in movie but later Randeep Hooda was signed to do this role. The movie Kai Po Che ‘s actor Amit Sadh will be seen as younger brother of Sultan in movie. Anushka Sharma, who is cast opposite to the Salman, will be seen as playing role of a female wrestler. She has taken wrestling training for the movie.

The movie was not only in news because Salman Khan is playing a role of wrestler for the first time but the other reason was its release day clash with Raees. Raees is an upcoming movie of Shahrukh Khan in which he is playing a role of liquor baron. The both movies had opted Eid day as release date. But as we all know that now both the superstars have sorted out their differences. This clash is also solved by them this month. And now Raees postponed its release date to the Diwali, 2016. This decision is taken very logically so that the movies do not harm each other business.
Sultan makers have finalized the movie release date as 6th July 2016.
