TE3N – Story
What is inferred from its trailer is that it is a thriller.
Amitabh Bachchan is portraying the role of John Biswas, a grandfather whose granddaughter was kidnapped eight years ago. Things turned out for the worse after that. He and his wife Nancy could not overcome the grief of losing Angela, their beloved grandduaghter.
For eight years he has been going to the police station seeking justice. His only aim, is to find the kidnapper, the brutal person who could harm his Angela.
Vidya Balan is portraying the character of Sarita Sarkar, a cop who patiently listens to John, but is equally flabbergasted by the lack of progress in the case.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is in the role of Martin Das, an ex-cop turned priest. Is he seeking redemption for failing to save the young girl? Perhaps. At the same time he asks John to seek solace elsewhere.
There seems to be no end to John’s woes when what happened to him and Angela all of a sudden happen again; another kidnapping eerily similar to the kidnapping of eight years ago.
Only John Biswas, Sarita Sarkar, and Martin Freeman, can do something now.
Can they solve the mystery? Who is the kidnapper, and what happened to Angela eight years ago, remains unsolved till June 10, 2016.
