William Ewart Gladstone rightly said that, if you are cold tea will warm you, if you are too heated, tea will cool you, if you are too depressed it will cheer you if you are excited it will calm you. The tea is not a very summery thing but the oh so delicious and marvellous ice tea is. According to me, there is nothing more soothing than a glass of chilled ice tea with some crushed ice after a workout at the gym or a tiring day out with your friends.

Well, have you wondered why are they so refreshing? Nope? Well, we are here with the revelation. Studies show that the acidic content of the drinks is responsible for making us feel all freshen up. The reason being here is the acidic taste actually wets the mouth and make use feel hydrated even after we have finished the drink. We know all of us love mango shakes but their are other options too. Check out the list below.

White peach Drink

People who love having peaches are going to love this as well. To start, just chop the peaches and put them in a pan. Now, put the required amount of sugar in it with some juice of a couple of limes. After then, keep the batter sim for about 15-20 minutes. After it has cooled off, just put the mixture in a glass full of ice and add some mint to it.

Mango Slurpee

The sight of a mango Slurpee is refreshing enough to make you give yourself a thought of consuming at least two glasses. Cut down the mango in slices and add water and sugar into it. Stir it well and let it sit for at least 15-20 minutes. Now, add some lemon juice and ice cubes with the mixture and mix all of em in a blender.

Frappe

This one is almost everyone’s favorite. Just take some coffee granules and put them in an ice tray with some water. After, that put the frozen coffee cubes, some milk, ice cubes, sugar and some chocolate milk and blend them well. Serve in a glass with some more crushed ice.

Granita from Italy

This drink has its roots in Italy. You just need to heat some sugar and water in a pan until the sugar dissolves. After it has cooled off, you can put some crushed ice and whatever flavor you like in a blender and mix them all well. The above picture is of the strawberry flavored granita. Yummy isn’t it?

Sparkling Cherry Lemonade

The cherry lemonade syrup can be made really quick and quite easily.  You will just have to mix some cherries, sugar, lemon juice and sparkling water. Serve with some ice and pour in some sparkling water if that is available.
