As per the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India dated 09/05/2016, in Writ Petition (C) No.261 of 2016 and other connected matters and as explained / elaborated in Information Bulletin for NEET II hosted on website and also published in the same way in Admission Notice published across the country, the following category of candidates can apply and appear in NEET II to be conducted on 24/07/2016.
- Left out candidates who could not register in AIPMT-2016/ NEET-I.
- Candidates who were registered in AIPMT-2016/ NEET-I but could not appear in NEET-I.
- Candidates who were registered in AIPMT-2016/ NEET-I and had appeared but have
apprehension that they had not prepared well subject to submission of an undertaking to give up their candidature for NEET-I
It has been clearly laid down in the Information Bulletin that more than one application by any candidate will lead to cancellation of candidature. As per eligibility of the candidates given above in category -iii, the candidates who had appeared for AIPMT- 2016/ NEET- I conducted on 01/05/2016 have to give up their candidature for NEET- I in case they preferred to apply for NEET- II to be conducted on 24/07/2016 in compliance of the orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
It is to re-iterate and bring to the notice of all concerned candidates and their parents that in all cases where the candidate has applied as a fresh candidate despite the fact that S/he was already registered for AIPMT- 2016/ NEET- I, their both the candidature will be cancelled meaning thereby that they will not be allowed to appear in NEET-II and their NEET-I will also be cancelled.
The candidates are advised to fill up their forms for NEET- II under the correct category in compliance of the orders of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and to avoid cancellation of both the candidature.
