If you are an avid TV viewer, then you must be aware of Manish Paul. The actor / television anchor is known for his impromptu jokes and humorous way of anchoring. His show Science of Stupid on Discovery Channel is quite famous among TV viewers.

The Dance reality show aired its first season on 2006, which was hosted by Parmeet Sethi and Archana Puran Singh. Manish Paul took the command of anchoring since its 5th Season in the year 2012.

Recently, he came under the scanner of news hunters when he did something unprecedented in the TV industry. He asked an amount for hosting a television show, which was too much for a non-Bollywood celebrity.

Reportedly, Manish Paul asked for 2.5 Crore for hosting the 9th season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

The channel didn’t want to go without Manish, so they accepted the offer. This deal made him the highest paid host in Indian T.V industry.

He received INR 1.5 Crore for hosting the last season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. According to TOI Manish had a friendly relationship with the production team and when he asked for a hike in his price they didn’t refuse.

To give it a fresh new look, Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde, and the charming beauty of Bollywood Jacqueline Fernandez will judge the show this season.

Manish started his career with a show “Sunday Tango” on Star Plus. His journey as an anchor started with “Wheel Ghar Ghar Mein” where he used to visit people’s houses.

He got his Bollywood break in 2013 with the film “Mickey Virus” where he was playing a role of a hacker. Elli Avram was starring opposite him in the movie. Despite such hot casting, the film didn’t do well at the box office.

Manish intelligently kept his TV journey on. He has hosted one and a half-dozen award nights and worked over two-dozen serials. He has worked in three Bollywood films so far. Manish recently became the father of his second baby. It seems his second child brought luck for him. He is famous for his amusing way of keeping a humorous environment in any show. This quality is the reason that made the producers of the show agrees on paying such a huge amount.
