In 2025, Costco followed nearly the same pattern, according to DealNews. The Associated Press reported a 9 a.m. opening for Black Friday 2025, and also reported that Costco would close on Thanksgiving and reopen on Black Friday. However, Costco has not confirmed a 2026 time. Separately, Scripps News reported in 2025 that Executive members can enter at 9 a.m., before the regular 10 a.m. weekday start, so opening time may depend on your membership. Yes, for warehouse purchases. Costco’s sale terms say an active membership is required to buy in a warehouse, and its member privileges page says only members may purchase items. The current fees took effect Sept. 1, 2024, according to Costco customer service.
