Is GTA 6 Trailer 3 Out Yet?

Yes. The third GTA 6 trailer came out on October 15, 2026, under the name “Launch Trailer.” Rockstar announced it in a Newswire post titled Watch the Grand Theft Auto VI Launch Trailer, and the video now sits at the top of the official site.

According to Shacknews, the trailer was posted to YouTube and X on the morning of October 15. So, if you were waiting for a video labeled GTA 6 Trailer 3, this is it, even though the name is different.

Why is it not called GTA 6 Trailer 3?

Rockstar has not explained its naming. However, the official video page lists the four videos as Trailer 1, Trailer 2, An Extended Look and Launch Trailer. Since the Extended Look was a long gameplay showcase rather than a trailer, the Launch Trailer is the third traditional trailer, which is why fans and many outlets call it GTA 6 Trailer 3.

Will there be another GTA 6 trailer before launch?

Nobody outside Rockstar knows yet. As of October 27, Rockstar has not announced any further trailer. In its October 15 post, it only said to “stay tuned” for more on the game’s music, including the official score album. Therefore, treat any “Trailer 4” date you see on social media as rumor until it appears on the Newswire.

Notably, the gap between trailers shrank as launch approached. Trailer 1 and Trailer 2 were 17 months apart, while the Launch Trailer arrived seven weeks after the Extended Look. Meanwhile, Trailer 1 went up a day earlier than planned, because, as CNBC reported, it had leaked on social media.

What Does the GTA 6 Trailer 3 (Launch Trailer) Show?

The Launch Trailer centers on Jason and Lucia’s relationship and the crime spree that pulls them across Leonida. Rockstar’s post pairs it with the official synopsis: when “an easy score goes wrong,” the pair end up in a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state.

In addition, Shacknews’ write-up notes that Jason narrates the trailer. It also describes footage of Jason in the Army, Lucia leaping onto the landing gear of a moving airplane, and both leads causing havoc around Leonida. Rockstar also lists the game’s content descriptors on the post, including Intense Violence and Strong Language, so it is not a trailer for kids.

What song is in GTA 6 Trailer 3?

The Launch Trailer uses “Flower in a Hurricane” by Justice, the French electronic duo who composed GTA 6’s original score. The single features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and it also appears on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, a 34-track soundtrack arriving November 19.

For Trailer 2, NME identified the Pointer Sisters’ 1986 track as the main song and noted the Tom Petty song from Trailer 1. By contrast, Rockstar itself credited the Launch Trailer song in its announcement, and the single is already available to stream.

What Did the Extended Look Show?

The Extended Look was a 26-minute gameplay showcase, not a trailer. Rockstar announced it on August 6 and premiered it on Netflix at 3 p.m. ET on August 27, 2026, before posting it on YouTube at 9 p.m. ET. Rockstar says it was “captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5.”

Because it focused on play rather than story, it answered gameplay questions the trailers skipped. For example, Engadget’s breakdown noted:

Which Platforms Get GTA 6, and Is It Coming to PC?

GTA 6 launches only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PlayStation says it will not be playable on PS4, and the PS5 version is marked PS5 Pro Enhanced. Rockstar has not announced a PC version, and none of the trailers or store pages list one.

Historically, Rockstar has brought its big games to PC after consoles, but it has given no GTA 6 PC timeline. So any PC date online is unconfirmed until Rockstar posts it.
